The GRUPPEM FRI-0222 Ram Air Intake System is engineered to boost the performance and auditory experience of your SPA Volvo vehicle. It features a construction of grade A Carbon Fiber, finished with a high gloss to improve engine aesthetics while also insulating the intake air from engine heat. The design specifically maximizes the utilization of available engine bay space to draw in the coolest, ambient air possible. This process prevents performance-reducing heated engine air from entering the intake. The kit incorporates a custom-designed, reusable K&N air filter, known for its superior filtration capabilities and contribution to maximum performance. The ram air design contributes to a sharper, more noticeable increase in engine power and reveals a sportier engine sound at higher RPMs. The filter media is oiled cotton. This intake system is compatible with a wide range of SPA Volvo models including the S90, V90, XC60, S60, and V60, typically from 2017 onwards, across various trims like T5, T6, and T8 with 2.0L engines and 8-speed automatic transmissions.
