Ram-Air Intake System

The Dinan Ram-Air D760-0030 is a meticulously engineered carbon fiber cold air intake system for select BMW 135i and 335i models. This system replaces the factory airbox lid with a hand-crafted carbon fiber unit and adds a secondary carbon fiber intake snorkel. This snorkel is strategically positioned to draw air from a low-pressure zone behind the front bumper, where temperatures can be up to 40 degrees cooler than the stock air inlet, providing the engine with denser, cooler oxygen-rich air. The use of carbon fiber not only enhances the engine bay aesthetics with its premium finish but also leverages the material's superior thermal resistance. Dinan reports peak gains of 5 horsepower and 6 ft-lbs of torque from this intake alone, with additional benefits realized at higher RPMs where increased airflow is critical. Installation is recommended to be performed by a professional, although detailed instructions are included to guide the process. For optimal performance, Dinan recommends pairing this intake system with their performance software. The system is designed to fit the following BMW vehicles: 2008-2010 E82/E88 135i, 2007-2010 E90 335i/335xi Sedans, 2007-2010 E92 335i/335is Coupes, and 2007-2010 E93 335i/335is Convertibles. Please note that this intake may not be compatible if the BMW Performance kit has been installed, due to potential interference from additional radiators near the brake area.
