The Rancho RS5000X RS55047A is a rear suspension shock absorber designed to improve on- and off-road handling and performance. It features Rancho's exclusive Cross Tuned technology, which includes a unique rebound valving system and advanced compression phase. This shock absorber aims to minimize a rough ride with its Progressive Engagement Valving, custom-tuned for each vehicle. It is constructed with a durable 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod, double-welded loops, and a 35mm sintered iron piston for structural integrity. The large twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid for cooler operation and increased vehicle control, capable of handling extreme temperatures.
