Rancho 84-01 Jeep Cherokee Front RS5000X Shock

The Rancho RS5000X shock absorber is designed to improve on- and off-road handling and performance. It features Rancho's exclusive Cross Tuned technology, including a unique rebound valving system and advanced compression phase. This shock absorber is custom-tuned for each vehicle application to reduce initial impacts and minimize a rough ride.

Constructed with a durable 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod, double-welded loops, and a 35mm sintered iron piston, this shock is built to last. It also includes a polyvinyl protective boot. The large twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid for cooler operation and greater vehicle control, withstanding extreme temperatures from -40 to 248°F. Nitrogen gas is pressurized to 150 PSI to prevent damping performance fade and foaming.
