The Rancho RS5000X RS55187 is a twin-tube shock absorber designed to improve on- and off-road handling and performance. It features Rancho's exclusive Cross Tuned technology, which includes a unique rebound valving system and an advanced compression phase. This technology helps to minimize rough rides by reducing initial impacts at low speeds.

Constructed with a durable steel body and a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod for resistance to scuffs and corrosion, this shock absorber also includes a polyvinyl protective boot. It is gas-pressurized to 150 PSI to reduce foaming and damping performance fade, and its large 2.25-inch twin-tube body allows for cooler operation and increased vehicle control.
