The Rancho RS5000X RS55763 is a front suspension strut assembly designed for improved on- and off-road handling and performance. It features a unique valving system, including Progressive Engagement Valving and a Compression Control Valve, custom-tuned for each vehicle to minimize rough rides and maintain shock motion control.

The strut is constructed with a nitro-carburized piston rod for durability, double-welded loops, and an application-specific sintered iron piston. It utilizes a large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid for cooler operation and is nitrogen gas pressurized to 60 PSI to reduce damping performance fade.
