The Flyin Miata NB Randall Cowl Intake V2 is engineered to significantly improve upon stock intake performance by drawing truly cold air from the base of the windshield, a high-pressure area that force-feeds the engine. This results in a dyno-proven gain of 5 horsepower at the wheels, measured with the hood closed to ensure accurate testing. The system utilizes a durable silicone hose construction, making installation easier than previous rigid designs. It includes a firewall plate that serves multiple functions: acting as a template for cutting the necessary hole, securing the clutch line, and incorporating a screen to prevent leaves from entering the intake.
