The Works Bell Short Boss Kit for Rapfix is a billet aluminum steering wheel hub designed to provide a shorter profile, measuring 55mm in length and 20mm less than a standard boss kit. Manufactured under strict quality assurance practices by ASEA and NAPAC, this boss kit is built for durability in sports and competition applications. The kit requires a maximum torque of 3 to 3.5 kg/m (approximately 22-26 ft-lbs). Proper installation is crucial, especially with tapered tooth designs; ensure the steering shaft is free of grease and the boss kit is mounted flush before torquing to avoid stress and potential cracking. This specific model, the 910S, shares vehicle compatibility with the standard Boss Kits 909 and 910 and features the Momo steering wheel pitch. Compatibility is provided by the maker for JDM cars only, and fitment is not guaranteed. It is recommended to perform your own research before purchase.
