The Bully Dog BDX Performance Programmer is a Wi-Fi-capable device designed to enhance vehicle performance by increasing horsepower and torque, and optimizing fuel economy. It allows for recalibration of the vehicle's computer after performance modifications. The BDX supports Wi-Fi updates for firmware and custom tunes downloaded via the cloud, eliminating the need for PC transfers. It also features built-in data logging and real-time data monitoring for various sensors (e.g., EGT, Air/Fuel Ratio) and can be customized with Derive's free Livelink software. Additionally, the BDX functions as a diagnostic tool, enabling users to read and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). The tuner automatically stores factory settings, allowing for easy restoration to stock. Adjustable parameters include axle ratio, tire size (rev/mile), idle RPM, traction control on/off, WOT shift, WOT fuel adjustment, transmission shift pressure, spark adjustment, fuel injector size, fan control, and rev/speed limiters (availability varies by vehicle).
