The Ford Performance Raptor 3.5L 450HP EcoBoost Crate Engine is a powerful twin-turbocharged engine designed for enhanced performance. Based on the 2024 Raptor 3.5L EcoBoost engine, this crate version delivers an impressive 450 horsepower at 5,520 RPM and 510 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,250 RPM. Constructed entirely from aluminum, this engine features a lightweight die-cast aluminum block with six-bolt press-fit main bearing caps and piston-cooling jets. It includes a fully counterweighted forged steel crankshaft, high-strength forged powder metal connecting rods with floating pins, and lightweight aluminum pistons with low-friction skirt coating. The engine also boasts dual overhead camshafts with variable camshaft timing and a high-pressure direct fuel injection system. A tuned composite upper and lower intake manifold and a 6-quart die-cast aluminum deep sump oil pan are also standard. This crate engine has a 10.0:1 compression ratio and recommends premium unleaded fuel. The total engine weight, without the accessory drive, is 417 lbs. It is important to note that no Ford Performance control pack is included; builders must source engine controls separately. Additionally, this part is designed and intended for competition use or off-highway use only and should not be installed on a vehicle driven on public roads and highways, as this may violate emissions laws.
