Show original supplier description
The Platinum Racing Products ignition coil kit is a comprehensive upgrade designed specifically for Nissan RB20, RB25 Non-Neo, and RB26 engines. By utilizing genuine Hitachi R35 GTR coils, this system delivers nearly three times the power output of factory ignition components, making it an essential upgrade for engines requiring improved spark energy under boost. Each kit includes custom-height, one-piece silicone injected stalks that seal the spark plug wells to prevent moisture accumulation and engine misfires. The stalks arrive with springs pre-installed, facilitating a streamlined, fast installation process without the need for trimming. For electrical reliability, the kit comes with a bench-tested, motorsport-grade wiring harness constructed from high-temperature Tefzel wire, featuring OEM-style connectors and glue-lined heat-shrink for long-term durability. Compatibility Note: This kit is strictly for Nissan RB20, RB25 Non-Neo, and RB26 engines; it is not compatible with RB25 Neo engines. PRP components are intended for track use only and must be installed by a qualified mechanic at a licensed workshop. Users are advised to utilize the dwell data provided on the manufacturer's website to maximize performance. PRP products are backed by a lifetime warranty, while the included Hitachi coils carry a 1-year warranty.
