The Nitto RB26 2.8L Wide Journal Stroker Kit is an advanced engine assembly engineered to progress the RB26 platform to higher performance levels. By utilizing a wider rod journal bearing, the kit allows energy and force to be dissipated over a larger surface area than stock components, enabling tuners to pursue more aggressive power delivery. The crankshaft is precision-manufactured from 4340 billet material with knife-edged counterweights to reduce mass and allow for free-revving operation, while also incorporating a single straight-shot oiling system for improved bearing lubrication. This comprehensive kit includes Nitto/CP 2618 low-silicon alloy pistons in an 86.5mm bore, complete with Turbo HD forging, PVD rings, and 9310 wrist pins. The assembly features Nitto V2 I-beam connecting rods manufactured from double-melted 4340 forged billet, which are designed to support high horsepower builds. The rods are equipped with 7/16 ARP 2000 bolts as standard, ensuring reliability under extreme conditions and high RPMs. Each component is purpose-built for demanding environments, ranging from circuit racing and drag strips to high-performance street applications.
