The Honda RBC Intake Manifold, part number 17100-RRB-A00, is a genuine OEM component designed to optimize engine performance. It is recognized as a significant upgrade over older PRB and PRC intake manifolds, offering substantial power gains, especially in the higher RPM range (above 5500 RPM). Dyno tests conducted on an '06 RSX-S, equipped with a DC Sports Header and Cold Air Intake, demonstrated that the RBC manifold consistently produces power all the way to redline, outperforming the PRB manifold in this crucial area. This direct replacement intake manifold is specifically designed for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si models with the 2.0L L4 - Gas engine and 6-speed manual transmission (KA 6MT). It is also noted to fit other K20A and K24 engines. However, it is crucial to note that this manifold MUST BE MODIFIED to fit K20A/A2/A3/Z1 and K24A1 cylinder heads. Additionally, while it directly fits K24A2 and K20Z3 engines, fitting certain Acura TSX and Honda Civic Si models from 2004-2008 may also require modifications or specific considerations. As a genuine Honda part, it is manufactured to strict factory specifications and undergoes rigorous testing to ensure durability and safety.
