RC 12 - 10 48V 3/8" CHAIN & 3/4" R

The RC12 Series automatic rope/chain windlass is built to effortlessly retrieve and deploy 10mm–13mm (3/8″–1/2”) short link chain and 16mm–22mm (5/8″–7/8”) 8-Plait rope (depending on model) using Maxwell’s patented Wave Design™ chainwheel. It is a highly versatile windlass offering multiple configurations and is packed with patented features showcasing the very best of Maxwell engineering. Suitable for boats ranging from 10m (30ft) to 20m (65ft), it is designed to expertly balance aesthetics with rugged dependability. Key features include a polished marine-grade 316 stainless steel pressure arm, stripper, and chainwheel, elegantly designed deckplate and chainpipe cover, and a large, through-deck hawse pipe for easy rope/chain rode entry. It has a double cone-type clutch/brake mechanism for manual free-fall anchoring and Maxwell’s unique “Active Latch Ratchet System” for emergency manual retrieval. The Maxwell-designed, hard anodized gearbox offers easy installation, increased corrosion resistance, simple maintenance, and takes up less room, with a 75:1 ratio and single-stage design for smoother, quieter operation.
