The Pelican Products 80QW Elite Wheeled Cooler is bear-resistant certified by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee, ensuring it can help reduce bear-human encounters by preventing bears from accessing food and attractants. This cooler features extreme ice retention with a freezer-grade gasket and 2-inch polyurethane insulation. It also includes Press & Pull Latches for easy gloved use, an integrated fish scale on the lid, heavy-duty wheels, molded-in handles with a built-in trolley handle, a bottle opener, molded-in tie-downs, non-skid feet, and a sloped drain with a tethered threaded plug. Made in the USA and guaranteed for life, it boasts corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware and a molded-in lock hasp with a stainless steel plate. The certification process involves intense impact and penetration testing, including visual inspection, mechanical methods, and captive Grizzly Bear testing over extended periods.
