RCD330 6.5-Inch MIB UI Radio

The Volkswagen RCD330 is an in-car radio designed with a 6.5-inch MIB UI display, maintaining a similar size to other popular VW radio models like the RCD510 and RCD330. This unit offers seamless integration with your smartphone, featuring Apple CarPlay for iPhones (iOS 10 and above), which enables split-screen functionality on iOS 13 for simultaneous navigation and media viewing. For Android users, Android Auto is an optional feature for enhanced device integration. The radio supports a variety of audio formats including MP3, APE, and FLAC, and offers connectivity options such as Bluetooth for hands-free calls and music streaming (A2DP), USB, Aux, and an SD card slot. It also provides support for factory parking distance display (OPS) and AV cameras, though it does not support RGB factory cameras. AM/FM radio is included, though AM functionality may be limited in the USA and Japan, and RDS is not supported. This RCD330 is a direct replacement for many Volkswagen PQ platform vehicles, often offering a plug-and-play installation for models that originally had an RCD510, RCD310, RNS510, RCD300, or RCD500. However, for VW cars produced before 2009, an adapter cable may be necessary to prevent battery drain and ensure proper function. Compatibility with steering wheel controls is generally maintained, and it can be used with cars before 2010 that may have communication protocol limitations. This unit does not support Dynaudio Sound Systems.
