RCD330 6.5-Inch Touchscreen Car Radio

The RCD RCD330 is a 6.5-inch car radio designed to upgrade your vehicle's infotainment system. It features a capacitive touchscreen with a MIB UI, offering seamless integration of modern smartphone functionalities. This unit supports Apple CarPlay for iPhone users (iOS 10 and higher) and Android Auto as an optional feature for Android devices, providing access to navigation apps like Google Maps and Waze, music streaming services, and more directly from the radio's display. The iOS 13 system enables split-screen functionality for simultaneous viewing of navigation and media. Connectivity options are extensive, including Bluetooth for hands-free calling and A2DP music streaming, with an integrated hands-free module and microphone. It also features USB, Aux, and SD card inputs for media playback. The radio supports various audio formats such as MP3, APE, and FLAC. Additionally, it includes support for factory parking distance display (OPS) and AV cameras for enhanced visibility, though it does not support RGB factory cameras. The AM/FM radio tuner has specific frequency ranges (AM 530-1600; FM 87.5-108) but notably lacks RDS support, and AM reception may not work in the USA and Japan. Installation is designed to be straightforward, with plug-and-play compatibility for many existing VW radios like RCD510, RCD310, RNS510, RCD300, and RCD500. However, compatibility nuances exist. Vehicles produced before 2009 may require an adapter cable to prevent battery drain. Cars produced before 2010 might need an adapter to resolve issues with key lights and Bluetooth ignition. This unit does not support the Dynaudio Sound System. If your car's plug differs from the standard big plug, an ISO to Quadlock adapter may be necessary.
