RCD330 PLUS 6.5-Inch Touchscreen Car Stereo Head Unit

The Noname RCD330 PLUS 187B is a car stereo head unit designed to integrate modern smartphone features into compatible Volkswagen vehicles. It boasts a 6.5-inch color touchscreen with an 800x480 resolution, offering a user-friendly interface for navigation and media control. Key features include support for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and MirrorLink, allowing seamless integration with your smartphone for navigation, music, and calls. The unit also offers Bluetooth connectivity with an integrated microphone for hands-free calling and audio streaming (A2DP), along with USB, AUX, and SD card inputs for expanded media options. It supports OPS (Optical Parking System) and can display a rear-view AV NTSC camera. Installation of the RCD330 PLUS 187B may require specific adapters depending on your vehicle's original audio system and steering wheel controls. For cars before 2009 with an 8-button MFSW, a CANBUS simulator adapter is needed. Models before 2009 without MFSW might require a gateway replacement to prevent battery drain. For certain models, including Passat, Jetta, Beetle, and Tiguan (2016-2018), an MQB to PQ adapter is necessary. Vehicles with 12-button or 6-button MFSW, or those with original head units like RCD510, RNS315, or RNS510, are generally plug-and-play. If your original unit had a factory rear-view camera, an RGB to CVBS adapter might be needed, though replacing it with a new camera is recommended for optimal performance. The unit is available with optional rear USB connections and wireless CarPlay/Android Auto dongles. Languages supported include English, Español, русский, Português, and German. The unit is disassembled from new Volkswagen Passat vehicles and comes with a gift AV camera adapter and FAKRA antenna adapter. It does not include manuals or original packaging.
