The ACR ELECTRON C1500002 (C406-1) is an Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) designed to meet TSO C126 standards. It automatically activates during a crash, transmitting a 406 MHz digital message to a global satellite network for rapid location identification. It operates on 121.5, 243, and 406 MHz frequencies, providing worldwide coverage. It is compatible with Artex whip, rod, or blade antennas and can interface with an optional Artex ELT/NAV Interface to transmit latitude and longitude data. Available for fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, it features a 5-year battery life.
