The TransGo RE5R05A-HD2 Valve Body Upgrade Kit is a reprogramming kit specifically designed to enhance the performance of the RE5R05A automatic transmission, primarily for applications involving forced induction such as turbochargers or superchargers, including those utilizing nitrous injection. This kit is ideal for racing, hot rod, and street performance applications. This upgrade kit features redesigned clutch regulator valves that increase line pressure. This ensures all shifting clutches receive full line pressure, rather than reduced regulating pressure, resulting in significantly faster and firmer shifting action. The kit includes drop-in redesigned clutch regulating valves. The RE5R05A-HD2 is compatible with JATCO 5-speed RE5R05A transmissions from 2002 onwards. It is designed for Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and 4-Wheel Drive (4WD) models. It is crucial to note that this kit will not fit Front Wheel Drive (FWD) JF-506E models.
