The K-Tuned 02+ LHD CMC Upgrade Cylinder Only is a replacement master cylinder designed to address known issues with factory clutch master cylinders in several Honda and Acura models. It replaces the original cylinder to offer real-time clutch engagement, supporting faster shifting for performance applications. The factory clutch fluid reservoir is reused, and installation involves replacing the cylinder and bleeding the system with new clutch fluid.

The original factory CMC features a feedback plate that delays clutch engagement, which can negatively impact synchros and gears during performance driving by not allowing them to be ready for gear changes. This K-Tuned replacement offers real-time clutch engagement, enabling quicker shifts and better synchronization with transmission components. This product is specifically the master cylinder with a 3AN fitting. It requires an aftermarket clutch line compatible with a 3AN female hose end fitting, such as the KTD-CLK-001. The factory clutch fluid reservoir is reused, and installation involves connecting the new cylinder, bleeding the system with fresh clutch fluid, and verifying the slave cylinder is leak-free. This upgrade is intended for LHD (Left-Hand Drive) vehicles only and does not fit RHD (Right-Hand Drive) configurations. It is compatible with: * 2002 - 2006 Acura RSX DC5 * 2002 - 2005 Honda Civic Si EP3 * 2006 - 2011 Honda Civic Si FG2 / FA5 * 2012 - 2015 Honda Civic Si (requires switching the clevis) * 2004 - 2008 Acura TSX A replacement seal for the 3AN fittings (Honda Part# 46943-S5A-003) is also available.
