The Heidts RM-101 is a robust 4-link suspension assembly engineered to enhance the rear suspension of 1964-1970 Ford Mustangs. This kit provides a significant upgrade over stock leaf spring setups, offering improved handling and stability. Heidts Automotive Group emphasizes quality and precision in their manufacturing process. Components like crossmembers and brackets are cut using high-definition plasma cutters, and many parts are polished in-house to achieve a superior finish. This domestic manufacturing approach ensures quick inventory fulfillment and fast shipping. The RM-101 system is built from field-tested components, intelligently engineered for both professional builders and hobbyists. This specific 4-link assembly is designed for 1964-1970 Ford Mustangs. The RM-101 system is compatible with Ford 9-inch rear axles. However, it will not fit Falcon convertible, Ranchero, or Cougar models. No cutting or floor modifications are generally required for installation, though specific variations like the mini-tub kits may have different requirements.
