The Ksport Procomp 4-Piston Rear Big Brake Kit is a sophisticated, bolt-on upgrade engineered to significantly enhance braking performance, particularly under sustained high-heat conditions. The calipers are constructed from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and excellent corrosion resistance, while aluminum pistons contribute to better heat management and uncompromised operation. Included are SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic for optimal braking in street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. The optimal operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F - 1022°F. Further enhancing the braking system are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to better cooling, or slotted rotors, preferred for track applications. All Ksport Big Brake kits come with CNC-machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets that facilitate direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket location. Calipers are available in various standard colors (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) with premium finish options and over 20,000 custom color choices. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. This kit is specifically designed for the 1993-1998 Subaru Impreza models.
