The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2038F-P is a remanufactured axle assembly engineered for specific Ford F150 models. This unit features a Ford 8.8-inch ring gear with a 3.55 ratio and is configured for rear disc brakes, incorporating a Posi traction differential for enhanced performance. During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings undergo testing for surface wear and cracks. Internal components, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutch, and carrier, are 100% inspected. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced. The housings are cleaned using a hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to their original OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established with precision measurements for longevity. This specific assembly is designed for the 2000 Ford F150 and includes specific tag numbers S862D and S869D. It is crucial to confirm fitment and accept the refundable core charge of $400. Please be aware that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately. The product is built to order and ships when ready.
