REAR AXLE ASSEMBLY

This is a remanufactured rear axle assembly for Jeep Grand Cherokees. Each unit is completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and reassembled with new wear components, including gears, pinions, assembly bolts, bearings, and seals. The assemblies undergo micrometer checking to ensure proper gear mesh. They are sealed and include backing plates, axle shafts, and are pre-filled with fluid. For protection and ease of core returns, the axles are packaged in heavy plastic. All units are fully painted and shipped securely in environmentally safe and recyclable containers, which are also sized for returning your original core. These complete rear axle assemblies simplify installation, requiring only the attachment of brakes and suspension components. It's crucial to match the axle ratio to the original vehicle's specifications, and for 4WD applications, the rear axle ratio must align with the front axle ratio.
