Description

This AAM 11.5" axle assembly is built for specific 2007-2010 GM Pickup 3500 DRW Cab Chassis models that are non-wide trac. It features a 3.73 gear ratio and a Posi differential. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain thoroughly inspects all internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The axle housings are cleaned using a hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning process. Housings and tubes are tested and straightened to meet OEM specifications, ensuring optimal tooth contact patterns, correct rolling torque, and proper gear backlash for precise setup, longevity, and quiet operation. It is important to note that this product is an assembly only and does not include the axles themselves. Due to its special order nature, a SureFit Order Form must be completed and submitted to ensure correct application.
