The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2162B is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for precision and reliability. It features an AAM 11.5-inch ring gear with a 4.10 ratio and Posi Traction, making it suitable for applications requiring enhanced traction. The assembly is a full-floating rear axle type and comes with the necessary cover. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain replaces 100% of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Each axle assembly undergoes rigorous inspection. Housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore an OEM finish. They are also tested for surface wear and cracks, and tubes are inspected for straightness to meet OEM specifications. Internal components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. Correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for precise setup, and proper gear backlash is set to ensure quiet operation and adequate lubrication. This axle assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
