The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1936C-P is a remanufactured rear axle assembly engineered for GM 7.5" differentials, compatible with 1998-2005 Chevy S10 Blazer and GMC S15 Jimmy models. This assembly is specifically built for 4WD vehicles and is not compatible with ZR2 models. It comes with a 3.73 gear ratio, identified by the GT4 ratio option, and features a Posi Traction differential for enhanced grip. Each Zumbrota axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt to high standards, undergoing thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear on all tubes and housings. Internal components, including the ring and pinion gears, clutches, and carriers, are 100% inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced to ensure optimal performance and longevity. The gear backlash is precisely set to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation, with gears inspected for correct tooth contact patterns and rolling torque. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process on internal and external parts. This rigorous cleaning process restores housings to an OEM finish, setting a high standard for remanufactured axle assemblies. The axle type is Semi Floating, and while the differential cover is included, the assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. Fluid is not included.
