The caliper features a lightweight one-piece design, CNC machined from aircraft-grade billet aluminum, weighing just over 5 lbs. each. It also incorporates a differential bore configuration to optimize pad contact and braking force distribution, an opposed piston design for improved pad wear evenness and caliper rigidity, and machined-in bridge tube protection grooves for durability. Aluminum pistons are paired with high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates are included. The rotor features a floating 2-piece disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, which also prevents thermal stress warping and eliminates cupping under extreme heat. The unique slot pattern expels gas and pad debris while reducing noise. Each rotor is heat-treated and precision balanced for vibration-free performance.
