This kit builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp series by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering capabilities and reduce drag for optimal performance. The calipers are meticulously crafted from a single billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant structure. The one-piece forged design guarantees uniform thickness and strength across the entire caliper. Inside, aluminum pistons offer superior heat resistance, maintaining consistent performance even under demanding conditions. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use, offering a 50% reduction in brake dust compared to race pads, along with reduced noise and rotor wear. The optimal operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F - 1022°F. The rotors are a floating two-piece design, allowing the outer section to adjust slightly for improved self-centering, which further minimizes brake drag and maximizes braking force. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driving due to better cooling, or slotted rotors, advised for track-focused vehicles. D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to prevent line expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
