Rear Big Brake Kit

The kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, which weighs just over 7 lbs and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for track use. This specific kit, the BKMZ350-443SO, is designed for the Mazda Miata ND 2016-2018 and features 8-piston calipers with 356mm diameter, 32mm width floating, drilled rotors, offered in an orange caliper color.
