Rear Body Brace

The Racingline Rear Body Brace (VWR810003) is a precision-engineered chassis stiffening upgrade specifically for the VW Polo Mk6 (AW) GTI and other MQB A0 platform vehicles. This brace connects the rear strut towers with a rigid carbon fibre link bar, which tightens the rear of the car and allows the suspension to function more effectively under load. This addresses the inherent flex in the rear of modern car chassis, which can otherwise blunt handling response and reduce grip, especially when using stiffer aftermarket suspension. The design features solid billet aluminium mounts bonded to an ultra-stiff carbon fibre link bar. This construction provides an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, enhancing rigidity without adding significant mass to the rear of the vehicle. The brace aims to deliver sharper turn-in, more consistent rear-end response during hard cornering, and better suspension geometry control, leading to improved tyre contact and a more connected, planted feel through quick direction changes. Importantly, it achieves these handling improvements without introducing added noise, vibration, harshness, or loss of ride quality. Installation is straightforward as the brace bolts to existing mounting points in the rear of the vehicle, requiring no drilling and being fully reversible. This makes it suitable for owners concerned about warranty or those who may wish to return the car to its original state. The full rear interior can be retained, and the brace is compatible with the rear seats in their upright or folded positions, or when removed for track use. Fitment is designed specifically for the VW Polo Mk6 (AW) GTI from 2017 onwards, and is also suitable for related MQB A0 platform models. Compatibility includes the POLO VI (AW1, BZ1, AE1, BZ3) 2.0 GTI (CZPC/DKZC) from 2017-2023 and the POLO VI (AW1, BZ1, AE1, BZ3) GTI (DNND) from 2021-2025.
