The Galfer DF771W Brake Disco Wave Fixed is a rear brake disc engineered to provide superior braking performance and durability. Crafted from a proprietary mix of virgin high-carbon 420 stainless steel, this rotor undergoes precise laser cutting and double-disc grinding processes, ensuring optimal flatness and balance. A key advantage of Galfer Wave® rotors is their exceptional heat dissipation capabilities. The innovative wave design allows air to pass over every point of the brake pad surface, keeping the brake system cooler. This efficient heat management prevents brake fade and ensures consistent, reliable stopping power, even under intense braking conditions. The rotor's design also contributes to a higher friction coefficient in the initial phases of braking, resulting in shorter braking distances and a more immediate pedal response. It is compatible with the vehicle’s original equipment dimensions, hubs, brake calipers, and road wheels. Compatibility for this rear brake disc is listed for the following KTM models: 690 ENDURO, 690 ENDURO R, 690 SM /PRESTIGE, and 690 SMC R. It features a 2-year guarantee and is 100% made in Italy.
