The HEL Performance HYU-4-006 is a set of braided brake lines designed for the Hyundai Coupe. These lines are constructed from stainless steel braided hose with stainless steel fittings, replacing original rubber hoses to eliminate sponginess under extreme braking conditions. They aim to improve braking reliability, performance, and deliver new levels of precision.

The HEL Performance brake hose is engineered as a direct, like-for-like replacement for the standard flexible brake hoses on the Hyundai Coupe 1.6 Rear Drums, specifically for the 2000-2001 model years. Constructed with a PTFE inner core, this hose offers exceptional chemical resistance and can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -70°C to 250°C (-94°F to 482°F). The PTFE core is protected against perishing and cracking, ensuring longevity. This is further enhanced by a high-strength stainless steel overbraid, providing robust protection against wear and tear. To safeguard your vehicle's body panels and paintwork, a durable, wipe-clean PVC outer cover is applied, available in various colors to match your aesthetic preferences or maintain an OEM look with classic black. HEL's unique fitting and ferrule design features an internal multi-groove system that creates internal sealing o-rings and allows for free rotation of the fittings post-hydraulic swaging, facilitating easier installation and fine-tuning. The ferrule also includes a locking groove that ensures the fitting remains securely attached to the hose, preventing detachment. These brake hoses are tested rigorously in both laboratory and motorsport conditions, complying with FMVSS-106 standards for road legality worldwide. This product comes with stainless steel braided brake hoses and fittings, copper crush washers (if required), mounting components (if required), and a lifetime warranty.
