The Stillen DB1786SS is a set of rear brake pads engineered by Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) for drivers seeking enhanced braking performance. These street series pads are constructed with a ceramic friction material that is post-cured for optimal performance. The pads are designed as direct replacements, aiming to provide better stopping capabilities and style for compatible vehicles. Each brake pad in this set has precise dimensions: an inner and outer pad height of 42.8 mm, an overall thickness of 14.4 mm, and a width of 98.5 mm. The set includes four pads to cover the rear axle and comes with necessary shims. The pads also feature a slotted design, which can aid in heat dissipation and cleaning of the rotor surface. DBA's performance series brake pads are cast from high-carbon alloyed iron and undergo Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP). This process allows the metallurgy to withstand increased stress and heat from intense braking applications. Many DBA rotors also incorporate the patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system for improved cooling efficiency.
