The Hawk Performance HB159F.492 rear brake pads are engineered for the discerning street driver seeking enhanced braking capabilities. Developed using a unique Ferro-Carbon formula, these pads leverage aerospace and motorsports severe-duty friction technology to deliver superior performance on your street-legal vehicle. They are designed to increase stopping power by 20-40% over stock pads, providing a higher coefficient of friction and greater resistance to brake fade. This translates to a more durable brake pad with less dust and a virtually noise-free operation. The HPS compound is known for its high friction and torque in both hot and cold conditions, while remaining gentle on rotors and offering extended pad life. These pads are intended for street use and are compatible with Iron/Metal rotors. It is important to note that all Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors.
