Integrating advanced brake technology, this kit significantly reduces brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring optimal performance. The calipers are constructed from a single piece of aircraft-quality billet aluminum, providing exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. They feature a differential bore configuration, machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance, and high-temperature seals. For the rear application, this kit includes 4-piston calipers, which greatly improve pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. This kit utilizes a two-piece disc assembly for reduced rotating and unsprung weight. The rotors are available in either slotted or cross-drilled designs; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The included SC5 Street Pads offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. The kit comes complete with two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors, a set of SC5 street brake pads, two D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer feel, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. The specified fitment is for Lexus GS300/400/430 JZS161 models from 1998 to 2005.
