This flex causes the caliper to twist, affecting pedal feel and leading to uneven pad wear. By utilizing solid brass bushings, this kit ensures the calipers squeeze the pads evenly on both sides of the rotor, similar to the action of multi-piston big brakes. This comprehensive kit includes stainless steel caliper slide bolts, o-rings, and new dust boots. The bushings are pressed into the caliper, preventing them from shifting or sliding independently. Installation involves removing the old rubber bushings and pressing in the new brass bushings, with a special tool (003326ECS03) recommended. High-temperature caliper grease or anti-seize is required for installation. The included inner o-ring helps retain grease on the slide bolt, minimizing friction and wear. It fits the rear of E90/2 and E60 models. However, for the front applications on these models, a different kit is required. Furthermore, this set does not fit E30 models equipped with Girling calipers but is compatible with Ate calipers.
