The Akebono EUR396 is a set of rear ceramic brake pads. These pads are designed with advanced ceramic technology for European makes, offering excellent stopping power and extending rotor life. They virtually eliminate noise, vibration, and harshness, while also producing ultra-low dust for cleaner wheels.

The Akebono EUR396 brake pads are engineered with highly advanced ceramic pad technology, specifically formulated for European vehicles. These ultra-premium ceramic pads offer excellent stopping power, extend rotor life, and virtually eliminate brake dust, making them an ultimate upgrade from OE semi-metallic, organic, and low-metallic brake pads. Key features include integrally molded friction material and a ceramic composition. The FMSI number for this set is 7286-D396. Installation tips provided suggest suspending the caliper to prevent damage to the brake hose, applying brake lube to caliper pins, clips, and pad mounting tabs to ensure noise-free braking (avoiding the friction side), and using a caliper piston compressor to retract pistons. It's also advised to monitor brake fluid levels during piston compression and to pump the brake pedal after installation to ensure proper function. These brake pads come with a 2-year or 24,000-mile warranty. They do not include abutment clips, brake lubricant, or pad wear sensors. The product is made in the United States.
