The UMI Suspension 2046-C209-150 is a rear coilover kit designed for 1982-2002 GM F-Body vehicles. Installation is primarily a bolt-in process, requiring only one 3/8-inch hole to be drilled per side with no welding needed. The kit is manufactured in the USA.

The UMI Suspension 2046-C209-150 is a rear coilover kit engineered for 1982-2002 GM F-Body platforms, including Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models. This kit provides comprehensive adjustability for ride height, spring rate, and damping, allowing for fine-tuning to match specific driving needs. The core of the system features Viking double adjustable shocks, offering 19 distinct settings for both compression and rebound. This allows users to precisely dial in their suspension characteristics. The kit utilizes a 2-1/2" racing coilover and comes with a 150lb spring, recommended for street use. Alternative spring rates are available for drag racing (110lb) and autocross/road racing (175lb or 200lb). While primarily bolt-in, it requires drilling one 3/8-inch hole per side, but no welding is necessary. The brackets are constructed from durable 3/16-inch US-made mild steel, laser-cut for accuracy, and powder-coated for longevity. The entire assembly is proudly manufactured in Philipsburg, PA, USA. This kit has been tested with UMI's 1-1/2-inch diameter trailing arms and specific sway bars (22mm and 32mm drag anti-roll bar). Fitment with other brands of sway bars or larger diameter control arms is not guaranteed and may require contacting UMI for consultation. Compatibility has also been confirmed with Moser Engineering and Strange brand rear ends, though minor adjustments might be needed for various aftermarket rear ends.
