Overview

The UMI Performance 301516 is a non-adjustable rear control arm kit designed for 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles. These tubular control arms are constructed from 1.625" OD x 0.120" DOM Mild Steel Tubing, CNC machined, and TIG/MIG welded for durability.

The kit features polyurethane bushings with "On Car" grease fittings for improved performance over stock rubber bushings, reducing traction loss and enhancing ride quality. They also include sway bar mounting holes for stock and aftermarket bars. Installation is straightforward using OEM hardware.

The UMI Performance 301516 Rear Control Arm Kit is engineered to upgrade the suspension of 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles, addressing common issues like bushing deflection, rust, and weak materials found in stock control arms. Constructed from robust 1.625" OD x 0.120" DOM Mild Steel Tubing, these control arms are precision CNC machined and fully TIG and MIG welded for maximum strength and longevity. This leads to reduced traction loss, improved handling, minimized wheel hop, and enhanced cornering consistency. The design also incorporates mounting holes for both stock and aftermarket sway bars. The control arms feature a durable, long-lasting powder coat finish and are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA using North American raw materials. Hardware is not included with this kit. This kit is specifically designed for the 1978-1988 GM G-Body platform, including models such as the Buick Regal, Chevrolet El Camino, Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, GMC Caballero, Oldsmobile Cutlass, Pontiac Bonneville, and Pontiac Grand Prix. It is a non-adjustable kit.
