These rotors feature an advanced cross-drilled design combined with an exclusive Sinusoid Curve Chamfer. This specific chamfering technique eliminates sharp edges on the drilled holes, significantly reducing the potential for stress cracks and minimizing rotor temperature by facilitating airflow and expelling brake dust. This process helps prevent heat checking and warping, ensuring consistent performance under braking. They are coated with a ZRC anti-corrosion finish, available in Gray, Silver, or Black, providing a clean aesthetic while protecting against rust and oxidation. The cross-drilled holes also play a role in dispersing water, which can help reduce the risk of hydroplaning when encountering wet conditions. The radial chamfer on SP Rotors is intended to mitigate this risk. For normal street use, stress cracks are unlikely due to insufficient heat generation.
