REAR CV AXLE SHAFT

Through years of research and development, Demon Powersports has developed an axle that adheres to the highest quality standards. These axles are bigger, beefier, and stronger, built using larger CV joints and shafts, paired with their proprietary dual heat treatment process, and a 4340 Chromoly Steel inner CV cage for superior strength and longevity. These axles also utilize a unique double plunge design allowing for higher articulation angles (approximately 1.5 inches of travel and 40° articulation over terrain on the inboard joint; the outboard joint can travel 0.5 inches and swing from 45°-47° depending on the model). The axles are equipped with TPEE (Thermoplastic polyester elastomer) boots which are stronger, stiffer, more fatigue resistant, puncture resistant, and more temperature resistant than a standard OEM boot. Axles use molybdenum grease to provide low friction and smooth motion. The dual plunge design allows for extra suspension travel while preventing binding, and the CVs provide an exceptionally high articulation angle of up to 47°. These stock-length axles are compatible with most bracket lift kits up to 3" as well as any portal lifts. They are up to 20% larger than OEM axles, delivering a maximum breaking torque of 4,600Nm. The CV joints are 10-15% larger in size compared to OEM, with the cage upgraded to 4340 Chromoly steel, effectively eliminating the weakest link in overall strength. The race and cage are specially engineered to increase durability while reducing heat generation, and upgraded grease ensures peak reliability and performance. The shaft is constructed from Chromoly steel and features a dual heat treatment process for maximum strength and durability, and is up to 20% larger in size compared to OEM axles.
