The Nissan DBK2600KIT is a do-it-yourself rear disc brake conversion kit designed for Datsun 510, 1600, and 180B models. This R31 Skyline-based package replaces factory drum brakes with slotted and spotted 260mm rotors and rebuilt calipers.

The Nissan DBK2600KIT provides a comprehensive solution for Datsun 510, 1600, and 180B owners looking to upgrade their rear braking performance. By utilizing components based on the R31 Skyline rear setup, this kit allows for a transition from factory drum brakes to a more effective disc configuration, suitable for street cars, performance builds, and restorations. This is an unassembled DIY kit that requires the user to supply and modify their own factory trailing arms. The package includes a pair of professionally rebuilt R31 rear calipers with pads, weld-on caliper mounting brackets for custom fabrication, braided rear brake lines, a set of custom handbrake cables, 260mm slotted and spotted rear rotors, a full rear wheel bearing kit, and Whiteline rear control arm bushings. Professional welding and fitment are highly recommended due to the fabrication required for the trailing arms. Users should note that this kit is supplied without the trailing arms themselves, and a detailed modification guide is available to assist with the process. For optimal performance, a brake booster and master cylinder kit, along with a Wilwood brake proportioning valve, are recommended to help balance and control the new disc-to-disc brake configuration.
