The EGR Brakes Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit is engineered to enhance the braking capabilities of your 1989-1993 Dodge Ram 250, offering a significant improvement over stock systems. This comprehensive kit provides superior braking performance, improved heat dissipation for consistent stopping power, and shorter stopping distances for increased safety. Designed as a complete bolt-on solution, it simplifies installation by eliminating the need for cutting or welding. The kit includes single-piston calipers (available with or without a parking brake feature), high-grip disc pads, vented rotors, stainless steel connector hoses, all necessary brackets, and hardware, along with step-by-step instructions. The components utilize OEM quality domestic calipers, pads, and rotors, and the brake pads are easily sourced from most auto parts stores. For optimal performance, an optional braided stainless rear hose with a check valve is highly recommended. This conversion kit is specifically designed for 1989-1993 Dodge Ram D/W250 single-wheel trucks and can accommodate both Diesel and Gas engine options. It is designed for easy installation, typically taking 2-3 hours per side.
