The Little Shop Mfg. Rear Disc Kit provides a cost-effective solution for converting your GM truck or SUV's rear drum brakes to disc brakes. Designed for 1988-1999 GM pickups (including 454 SS models) and 1992-2000 SUVs equipped with light-duty 5-lug rear ends featuring 10-inch drum axles, this kit simplifies the upgrade process. Installation is straightforward, requiring no welding and avoiding the need to pull axle shafts. The kit utilizes readily available, serviceable parts, which can also be purchased individually. This ensures long-term usability and ease of maintenance. It is crucial to verify your vehicle's specific drum size and flange measurements against the provided specifications, as the kit will not fit if these dimensions do not match the 10-inch drum size or correct flange pattern. This verification can be performed by measuring the flange at the back of the drum without requiring full disassembly. Note that this kit will fit inside many, but not all, 15-inch wheels. If the caliper contacts the inside of the wheel, clearance can potentially be gained by lightly sanding the caliper contact points.
