The National Parts Depot rear disc brake conversion kit provides a bolt-on performance upgrade for 1957-1986 Ford F100 and F150 trucks equipped with a 9-inch rear axle using the large bearing flange. This kit centers on laser-cut steel mounting brackets that secure single-piston calipers over 11 5/8-inch rotors. The rotors are finished with a zinc-washed coating and feature a cross-drilled and slotted design, utilizing a standard 5 x 5 1/2 bolt pattern. Each kit includes the essential rubber brake hoses and adapters required to connect the calipers to existing hard lines, along with all necessary Grade 8 mounting hardware for installation. A parking brake cable conversion kit is available separately under part number F-2A635-26MP. Installation requires a minimum 15-inch wheel size to ensure proper caliper clearance. Because wheel spoke depth and face designs vary significantly, buyers should consult the provided online wheel fit template to verify clearance before installation. Once installed, these kits are non-returnable. Please note that this is a made-to-order item shipped directly from the manufacturer, with lead times typically ranging from 1 to 8 weeks.
