The Eckler's DBK9LX is a universal high-performance disc brake kit designed for Ford 9-inch rear ends. This kit upgrades your vehicle's braking system with rear single-piston calipers, D154 brake pads, stainless steel brake hoses, caliper brackets, and E-brake cables.

The kit includes mounting hardware and E-brake rear loaded calipers, along with brackets and flanges to fit common 9-inch rear end sizes: 3-3/8” x 2”, 3-1/2” x 2-3/8”, and 3-9/19” x 2”. The rotors are drilled and slotted, available in patterns for 5x4.5" with 1/2" studs or 5x4.75" with 7/16" studs.

The Eckler's DBK9LX is a high-performance disc brake conversion kit engineered for upgrading Ford 9-inch rear ends, offering a significant improvement over stock drum brakes. This comprehensive kit provides a bolt-on solution, simplifying the installation process for enthusiasts seeking enhanced stopping power. Included in the kit are rear single-piston calipers, D154 brake pads, stainless steel braided brake hoses for durability and optimal fluid flow, caliper brackets, and emergency brake cables. The kit is designed to accommodate the three most common 9-inch rear end flange sizes: 3-3/8” x 2”, 3-1/2” x 2-3/8”, and 3-9/19” x 2”, eliminating guesswork during installation. The rotors are cross-drilled and slotted to improve heat dissipation and reduce brake fade, available in 5x4.5" bolt pattern for 1/2" studs or 5x4.75" bolt pattern for 7/16" studs. This kit is specifically designed for pre-1980 Ford passenger cars equipped with a 9-inch rear end. It is compatible with a wide range of Ford models including the Fairlane, Thunderbird, Galaxie, Mustang, Falcon, Gran Torino, and Mustang II, spanning from 1957 through 1978. The high-performance LX model features the upgraded drilled and slotted rotors along with stainless steel brake lines.
