REAR DISC EXP

The Stainless Steel Brakes (SSBC) A124 is a comprehensive rear drum-to-disc brake conversion kit designed to upgrade the braking performance and change the lug pattern of 1987-1992 Ford Mustangs equipped with a 4-lug setup to a 5-lug configuration. This kit specifically targets vehicles with an 8.8" Small Bearing Rear Differential. It includes a single-piston cast iron caliper with a built-in parking brake, finished in zinc plating for enhanced corrosion resistance. The kit features 10.5-inch diameter, 0.9375-inch thick uni-directional (straight vane) rotors with a 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern. Optional rotor finishes include Turbo slotting and Xtra Life plating for improved heat dissipation and longevity. All necessary hardware, including a proportioning valve, new parking brake cables, a new master cylinder, two new rear 5-lug Moser axles, steel spacers, DOT flex hoses, E-Coated mounting brackets, and axle end play shims, are provided for a complete installation. This kit is compatible with most 14-inch wheels, but it is recommended to consult a wheel fitment diagram for exact clearances.
