This gasket is compatible with a larger gasket (part number 171-837-211/A), ensuring a precise fit and contributing to the smooth operation and longevity of the door handle assembly. It is sold individually, making replacement straightforward. This gasket is manufactured in China to good quality standards, offering durability and reliable performance. It is designed as a standard replacement part to maintain the original functionality of your vehicle's door hardware. The gasket can be installed on either the left or right side of the door handle. Fitment includes a range of Volkswagen and Porsche vehicles: Golf Mk1 (1977-1983), Golf Mk1 Cabriolet (1979-1993), Caddy Mk1 (1983-1992), Scirocco (1981-1992), Jetta (1979-1983), Polo Mk1/Mk2 (1982-1994), Porsche 924 (1980-1988), and Porsche 944 (1982-1991). Additionally, for the Mk1 Golf, it fits from chassis number 177 3131 766 onwards. It is also specified that this gasket fits rear door handles only if the door handle part number begins with '173'.
